TO ALL OUR VALUED HIRE PURCHASE CUSTOMERS

Home & Living values your loyalty as a hire purchase customer. Considering the recent impact of the COVID-19 outbreak in Fiji, we understand that some of our valued Hire Purchase Customers are facing difficulties in meeting their repayment obligations.

For these affected customers, arrangements will be made to offer relief based on the Customer’s specific circumstances in line with the Consumer Credit Act.

Following options are available:

  • No penalty interest will be charged effective from 1st April 2020** (To be reviewed after 3months); we require documentary evidence of hardships experience e.g. Letter from employer regarding changes to salary or work hours.
  • You may restructure your loan to reduce repayment amount;** we require documentary evidence of hardships experience e.g. Letter from employer regarding changes to salary or work hours.

** VPCL hereby reserves its right to either accept or reject the requests based on its own assessments and judgment on all the applications.
